There are so many difficulties in life that can prevent you from achieving your dreams. When some people come face to face with hardships, they crumble under pressure. For others, they strive past the obstacle in their way and continue on with their goals.
Me personally, I choose to keep my goals in sight and take on any challenge keeping me from obtaining them. Just last Friday night, my football season came to an abrupt hault when we had gone into the md pit, otherwise known as CBAC. We had prepared vigarously throughout the week and were even predicted to win. We were on a five game win streak and looking to make it six.
The whole game, nothing had went our way. We couldn't do anything on offense and our defense was being run on non-stop. We had no answer for what they were laying out in front of us. I looked at the sideline and I saw everyone's helmet down. My team had given up by the end of the first half. I never gave up hope until the very last second of the game. I kept my head held high and ran as hard as I could, and at the end of the game I knew that I left nothing on that field.
I walked off the field with my head up looking at the scoreboard, 46-16, and said to myself, "We're going to kick their ass next year."

It's awesome to see this kind of optimism and determination. Keep up all the hard work and good luck next year, man.
